How long does a tattoo take?

Does it hurt a lot?
In general, the part that affects pain most is time. Larger tattoos and longer sessions tend to feel more intense. With clean lines and soft shading, the process is usually very manageable.
Do colour tattoos hurt more?
Often yes. Colour work usually involves more filling, larger needle groupings and a different approach, so it can feel more intense than linework and soft black and grey shading.
What happens on the day of the tattoo?
The design is reviewed with you first, then the size, placement and proportions are checked on the skin using a stencil before starting.
